How to upgrade from 6.0 to 8.0?

We have 6.0 installed and would like to upgrade to 8.

It looks like we have the softare but when we try to intall, it tells us to make sure no previous versions of Lifecycle designer is installed.

since it is integrated into SAP, i cna't find a way to uninstall 6.0 at all. We uninstalled SAP GUI 7.1 & tried again, but the installation .exe would not let us choose the checkbox to install 8.0.

any ideas?

Robert,

Remove the ALD 6.0 folder from the C:\Program Files\Adobe\Designer 6.0 and uninstall the ALD6.0 from the control panel also. After that install ALD 8.0.

normally, that would have worked great. but lifecylce doesn't appear on my remove programs list.. it's not listed as a component under my SAPGUI Frontend or SAPNetweaver install either.

I had to just install on a separate PC work work from there for now.

I think from control panel->add remove programs you can find adobe life cycle desginer.

You remove from there and re-install .
