Error 503 Service Unavailable

Hi all,

am getting the following error in WD view "*Error 503 Service Unavailable from 127.0.0.1*'

how to rectify the error

Is it WebDynpro ABAP ?? if yes then give me the exact Application Name, so that i can point you to exact code place, that needs to be checked.

Hi Prashanth,

Its WD ABAP,i have instaled NW7.1 in my personal system,when am trying to create my custom WD application or while opening standard examples also in the view its displaying 503 error and none of the UI elements are visible in the vieweditor

is your server is in local system or remote ?

you have to create FQDN

should be able to ping your server from your client machine. ( if not contact network guy )

Hi China,

Appears to me that SICF nodes are inactive.

Enter transaction code /nSICF.

Locate the /default_host/sap/bc/webdynpro/sap/ find & activate your webdynpro Application , by selecting it and chossing activate by making right mouse click on it. You can also test by chosing TEST Service from same context menu after service is active. check below documentation from sap

dont forget to check SAP Note mentioned in the link for similar issue.

SICF services are active only,i hope this might be problem with Microsoft loop back adapter settings....
