Unable to start SAP Router as a Service

Hi,

I have added the saprouter as a NT service in Windows XP Professional, because i have configured the saprouter in windows xp (service pack 2) system.

When i try to start the service, i am getting a error

"Could not start the saprouter service on local computer

Error 1053: the service did not respond to the start or control request in a timely fashion"

Please help me to resolve the issue

Thanks for your reply. i have download the Microsoft .NET Framework 1.1 Service Pack 1. When i run the programe i am getting the error

"The Upgrade patch cannot be installed by the windows

Installer service because the program to be upgraded

May be missing, or the upgrade patch may update a

Different version of the program. Verify that the program

To be upgrade exists on your computer and that you have the correct upgrade patch"
