Interfaces pointing to new R/3 system -- configs?

Hi Gurus,

Basis guys are changing the R/3 system, now PI (QA) has to point to new R/3 system.

1) How can we do this changes in XI to point to R/3? Do we have to configure the interfaces individually to point to new R/3??

2) What are the consequences and settings that needs to be done from both R/3 and XI point of view?

I think even design also would affect.Because,We might have imported IDOCS from R3 system by giving client and R3 system parameters.

Hi Preeti,

Just make sure all the RFC Destinations, Partner Profiles etc.., are in place for the new system and also, you need to make changes in the Configurations.

NO , Use the QA connection Parameters

Check the RFC Destination, Port,Partner Profile, Meta Data,Connection User ID & Passwords

Problem is i have change all the objects in configuration after pointing to new R/3 system. let me know if there is a workaround.

Yes you have to change all the connection details manually in the ID part of XI.
