Hi,

You cannot directly import DC projects in NWDS.

You can follow either of the two approaches-

1) Create a new DC project in the new NWDS with the same complete name & then copy the contents from the previously created zip to this new DC workspace location.

2) Create an SCA for this DC in old NWDS & then you can import this SCA in NWDS & have the DC project.

Hope this clarifies your query.

Kind Regards,

hii,

If you want to import them into JDI, do the following steps :

1)create a new DC on JDI.

2)copy the contents of the local DC into the new one except the .dcdef and .project files

3)reopen the project, build and deploy.

4)then goto navigator

5)then navigator mein jao

rt click on DC - >DTR -> Add -> Subtree -> Continue

unchk Show Local Files only

Hope this helps you.

Well...

I have the _comp folder of my DC's, into a zip file.

First, I need to unzip this DC's, and import they to NWDS...

What can I do this?!

Thanx!

U can unzip the contents then copy all the contents except .project and .dcdef file if u r copying all these contents into a new dc as suggested by me above.

Hi Glauber,

If it a local DC you can copy the relevant folders from your work space to the other NWDS. It will be much better if you can copy the entire workspace to the new NWDS. In that way there won't be any problem.

Once your local DC is setup in your new NWDS it can be moved to JDI. Since your Local DC and your JDI will in different SC's it will be a copy of files. Follow this tutorial. [http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw04/helpdata/en/9e/1c200ac164cf4a942f2dacdf3359e9/frameset.htm]
