Regarding PIR Reduction's from R/3 to APO

Hi - Please help me with the below issue !!

When a PIR is reduced (withdrawn) in R3 as a result of backflush goods issue, the corresponding PIR in APO does not reduce but it is fine with R3. Please let me know if any configuration settings are missing at APO level.

Any suggestions will be much helpful.

Hi,

Do you have a strategy maintained in demand tab of location product master in APO?

The main factors that decide consumption are the assignment mode and the check mode in location product master that come from the strategy group in MRP3 tab of ECC material master. Check your strategy group.

Hi Pulliah,

Normally for MTO (Make to order) scenarios, PIR consumption will happen in APO and for MTS (Make to order) scenario, it won't happen. The same is controlled by Strategy group in MRP view data as indicated by Visu Venkat.
