Hello,
I am trying to understand something in ESOA world about UDDI registry and roaming on sdn blog forum, sap help and every kind of search in google, I arrived to this conclusion: this argument is not clear.
Often there is a link to this blog:
/people/thomas.jung3/blog/2005/01/11/publishing-abap-webservices-to-an-external-uddi-server
where instead it's explained how to connect to an external uddi registry. It talks about a built in UDDI server, but it's not explained how to use it.
I think the SUDDIREG transaction is not well documented: I thought it was for declaration of registry, but now I think that is only for declare connection to existing server. So ... where is the built-in registry and how can I use it? Starting from which SP is available?
What I would like to do is: enable a local registry and use it to publish my own web services.
Can anyone please make a bit little clear on this argument?
thanks in advance to anyone will help me
Gabriele
ok. this is the solution: if you want to use SOA, ESR, SR, ESB and so on, you need ABAP and BASIS SP>14.
