EH&S: How to create new tab and it's flieds for tx cbih02?

Hi friends,

I would like to know step by step how to create a new tab for transaction CBIH02 (work area) when i select a work area and then it's Industrial Hygiene and Safety data. We need to add additional tab in order to have data related to IHS in a particular work area.

This new tab should have fields associated to a characteristic with phrases, and fields associated to a characteristic with fixed values and permit additional values.

Hello Abio find the information

Go to Transaction Cl02 and create a class with a name say u201CZother damagesu201D. Assign class type 100 and description accordingly.

Save the Class

Go to characteristics creation T Code (CT04) and create two new characteristics called say ZEquipments and ZReactors

Enter characteristic type phrase enabled if you wish to include phrase enabled characteristic

Go to values and other values and assign function modules u201CC14K_PHRASECHARACT_CHECK u201C

Make settings accordingly if you want to create single instance or multiple instances

And save similarly create for other characteristic namely say u201CZAsset Lossesu201D

And create similarly as you created above for u201CZEquipmentsu201D

Now assign these two characteristics to the class which you have created previously

Now navigate to Industrial Hygiene and Safety node of the SPRO and navigate to Basic settings node

And assign the value assignment you have created above under u201CAssign Value Assignment Types to classesu201D

Under Value Assignment type select the name of the you created above and give description to convey the tab pages

Assign the Value Assignment Category as IHS

Under the class assign the class you have created previously

Save and come out of the node

Under Object type assignment enter the object where you want to display the value assignment say Workarea

Now go to CBIH02

You can find the tab page under Industrial Hygiene and Safety information page as additional tab called Other Damages with u201CZEQUIPMENTu201D and u201CZASSETLOSSESu201D
