what is the default port no of the SAP WAS in Linux?

Hi,

I have installed the linux version of Netweaver WAS 6.40. I can start the server.

But when i open the browser with the URL "Http://localhost:50000/", the default page is not displaying. The browser is responding with page cannot be displayed...message. Seems that the server is not listening in that port.

Do you know what might be the default port no of the SAP WAS in Linux.

Hi,

Default WAS ports are always (regardless of the underlying OS) calculated based on the instance number of your WAS. <a href="http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw04/helpdata/en/a2/f9d7fed2adc340ab462ae159d19509/frameset.htm">This</a> page explains all this in more detail.
