inventory management at customer location

Dear Gurus,

Not sure to which category this query belongs, hence posting in two areas.

How can we update/manage stock delivered to a customer location using a drop shipment order?

Hello,

As you know, thorugh third party, we dont have control over the stock which the third party (Vendor) is delivering. Once the MIGO is done to update the consumption accounts and a MIRO is done before creating te customer invoice.

As in the earlier reply, it is doubtful that we can club both the scenarios into one process. Check with your MM team regarind the stock maintenance related issues. A team work can always find some solution...

Hi Kumar,

very short description. I guess you want to post a customer consignment fill-up via a third-party order. Unfortunately this process is not supported by SAP. See Note 751385.

Workaround is to first purchase the goods for you stock and then sell them via the SD consignment process.
