kernal upgradetion

hello all,

I have upgrade the kernel from 133 to 185 with both part 1 & 2

I also downloaded the transport files

but i don't know in witch folder i have to save that uncared transport file

pleases guide me

Hi Patil,

After downloading the Kernel packs 1&2. Uncar the files with Executable SAPCAR. First of all take a copy of the existing kernel directory (copy it to a different loaction). Stop the SAP Server and stop all the SAP and DB services. Copy the uncarred files to the kernel directory , Restart the services and restart the DB and SAP Server.

What transport are you talking about???... just follow the note.
