printing issue

Hi,

When a setting is done as "send with own application" for output type, what does it mean..? When will it get printed?

To be more specific, when the output will be issued if the medium is 6 (EDI)..?

Hi

Anyone of transmission medium were 1 Print output .... 6 EDI, when you have setting dispatch time 3 "send with application own transaction" that means that the output will execute when you run and specific program/trx, for example in VA02 go to menu issue output and print, or run program RSNASTED and so on.

When output dispatch time is set with 3- send with application own transaction, then the output will be triggered only with some transaction like for example, in VF02 - Menu billing document -> issue or in VL70 triggering the output for picking manually.

Hello Friend,

"Send with own Application" for Output Type means output will be tirgged from your own application.For Eg: Loading Sheet has to print from outbound delivery after PGI and if your company has got Shipment process then PGI is always done through shipment for that delivery.So once you finish the shipment PGI will be done and automatically that output is triggered from the Delivery.

If the Output Medium is 6 (EDI) means an idoc will be generated once you save the document. If already the relevant configurations like Partner Profile and message type is maintained.
