selected set not displying while RR

Hi

i have created selected set for defect location,but while result recording it disply only catlog.

plz help me

Hi Nirmala,

Please make a note that selected sets can only be created for Catalog types 1 & 3 and not for other such as defects etc., This is the reason you're unable to view it. Make sure you create selected for the codes from Catalog types 1 & 3 only.

thanks that problem has been resolved,my next quaition regarding to this is

i have recorded defect type ,no of defects and defect location in RR (Defect-Item view)

but in diaply view of RR, defect location is not coming.

Hi Nirmala,

Check the following entries:-

1) Check the defect location is created or not ?

Quality Management --> Quality Planning --> Basic Data --> Catalog --> Edit Catalogs --> Edit Code Groups and Codes

Catalog: E

Code group: QM

QM Defect Location:

Codes: Defect location 1

Codes: Defect location 2

2) Now check the Defect location is added in the notification type F2 or not ?

( this notification type is populated during defect recording)

a) Quality Management--> Quality Notifications --> Defects Recording -->

i) Define Notification Type

F2: got to details and check the catalog profile

Example: Catalog profile : u201CQM0000001u201D

ii) Define Catalog Profile

Check the catalog profile u201CQM0000001u201D

Click on Catalogs / code groups

Check the entry for u201CEu201D is their or not

I f not then click on u201CNew Entriesu201D

Add Catalog: u201CEu201D , Code group: *

Please tell me where in RR are u inputting the defect location. are u creating a defect record.
