backorder issue

Hi experts,

I have gone through info about backorder", but still got the issue. Pls help to solve. Thx.

Issue: How to handle backorders in the system for the two scenarios below?

Scenario 1: Stock is purchased only. Sales order is created after PO is GR. When creating sales order, availability check against ATP is performed. By using report, how to switch the consumed sotck to sales orders againt availability block?

For e.g., sales order #1 already consumes stock & its delivery date Feb 10 can be met. Sales order #2 is against availablility block due to delivery date Feb 5. How to switch the consumed stock to sales order #2?

Scenario 2: MTO.
