We are XI 3.0 SP14.
Scenario: File->XI->IDoc
Sender CC parameters:
QOS : EO
Polling interval : 60 secs.
Processing mode: delete
Processing sequence: By Date
File type: Binary
If a single message is sent then it is processed immediately. But if there are 2 or more message sent simultaneously, the messages wait in the inbound queue for a long time about 7-10 mins and then get processed successfully.
We have tried the Registering and activating the queues.
Can anyone let me know the solution for this problem?

aravindh.

Hi Krishna Moorthy,
We can increse the no of work processes in transaction RZ04.
To see the number of work processes assigned and the status of each and every WP in transaction SM50.
The number of work processes to be assigned depends upon the processor.
If u have a single processor , 5-7 WPs should be assigned
If u have dual processor , 10-12 WPs should be assigned
if Quad - processor , 20-25 WPs should be assigned.
In our case we were using dual processor but only 6 WPs assigned. So while processing simultaneous messages (multiple files ) the available WPs processes the first message hence that message is processed without any problem . But there is no free WPs for the rest of the messages occuring simultanoeusly , hence they are forced to wait .So we increased the number of WPs to 12 hence solved the problem.

Hi ,
We increased the no of work processes from 6 to 12 which is recommended for dual processors and that solved the problem.
We referred to the below link

HI Aravindh,
DO u mean messages means multiple files ? If so
Just try with making Quality of Service as EOIO.
For quick Reference-
