Scheduling Comm Channel

Hi,

We are on PI 7.0 SP12 and i am trying to schedule the CC using link availlibilty time planning .

But still its not functioning at the desired time interval...can anybody help me out.

Esha,

I am not able to open the link that you have sent.

But it should work.

Steps:

1. Go to RWB -> Communication Channel monitoring -> Availibility time planning.

2. Select the Availability time -> Daily (if you want your job to run daily)

3. Click on create button.

4. Give the description and select the start date, start time, end date, end time and duration.

5. on Communication channel tab -> select your communication channel.

6. Again come back to Detail Tab and there click on the Active status to activate the scheduling.

7. Now Save it.

8. It will Activate your scheduling.

Hey,

I did the same way...still its not working.

Can you tell me one thing...Before doing all this...do we need to stop the channel or not?

But you can try stopping channel.

What time you have set in the Availabilty time planning for the channel?

and what time planning you have choose?

Is your channel active?

and check you availability time planning is also active?

Hey,

I have tried in both ways ( by stoping the channel and in Automatic control state )

I have set the channel for one time activity i,e for today some interval ( 10 mins )...place some messages in queue...But its not picking those messages from the queue.

Note: My scenario is JMS to Idoc

My Channel in activate state

And availability Planning is also in Active state.

But no luck!!!!!?? Did I miss is there anything else?! we are in PI 7.0 ~ SP13

Help me out!
