Hi Guys,
How to perform Material availabilty check for networks is my question and i gone through some threads and configured the system
I configured Defined Checking Rules, Define checking scope and checking control. Still, when I create reservation on network it is not checking against availability from MM
I have created a reservation for mvt. Type 201 it appeared in availability overview
But, when I created in PS for(mvt.type 281) it is not appeared there.. Also it is not checking
I didnu2019t see any update in Data for availability in reservation screen of network
Is there any configuration I am missing?
Can anyone please help on this?
Thanks,
Satya
We could have different materials under network, some are available and some or not. So, I think it should be at material component level.
In the proc.program tab in reservation there is section called data for availability. will it be updated.
Also what's the procurement i should be using for the reservation?

helo satya,
the data will be updated if parts are missing and u can carry out avialability check at each component level or whole for all components at network levels and status gets updates only at network level not at component level .... next thing u can use prourment indicator 130 ,

hi satya,
you would define avialability control 01 daily requireemnts, and 02 (individual requirements ) for materials and you need define the avaialability check 01 or 02 in MRP3 tab in material master record .... then only avialability chcek takes place.... for materials .If materials are there then status of network would be MACM ,if shortage then it would be MSPT.
