Setting up JCO, JCA on the J2EE server

I know there is documentation in help.sap.com on how to configure JRA on the server. Even with that information I don;t know where to start.

My current configuration is a local J2EE and a server J2EE with JDI installed.

I would like to connect both systems to an SAP CRM environment using JRA. Any ideas on where to start?

Check out this article recently published. However, the sample code isn't available yet and I haven't been able to see how to works.
