Hi,

You do it via OAK7 transaction. Keep in mind that it's relevant only for assets/stocks reconcilliation accounts. Gor other balance sheets, there is no possiblity (nor business justification) for managing cost elements.

Hi Chelli,

If balance sheet account is not a asset recon account, you cannot create a statistical cost element for balance sheet account Cost element category 90.

I hope I clarified your doubt. and give me some time to explore.

Hi

What is the requirement to create cost element for b/s item. Please have your requirement clear. Why u need cost element for b/s item.

Yes you can create as 90-statistical cost element for b/s. As it is statistical you can use this for assessment/alocation, just for reporting you can do so.

Hi Radhi,

Balance sheet accounts cannot be created as cost elements in cost accounting, except for:---

a)Asset reconciliation accounts

b)Material stock accounts for valuated sales order stock for sales orders or projects.

Let me if you find better solution.
