BI_JDBC: Tables are found but no columns

Hi,

We are having trouble with a BI_JDBC service that refers to an Oracle DB. All the correct tables are displayed in the SQL Query Editor but without the correct columns. We have strange non-exisitent column names such as "CLS_ID" and "EXC_EXP_ID".

We are assuming that the problem might be with the fixed catalog but we have no idea what the correct entry might be. Should the "Fixed catalog" value be the database name? We have tried this and it didn't work.

VC: V6.00.0020

Portal: SP14

Thanks

Dick

I have some details about the Oracle JDBC Connection information in OSS Note 929015. Check that out... There's an attached PDF as well.

Hi,

I would love to see OSS Note 929015 but it is not released. Could post the details?

Thanks.

Hey, sorry about that. I went in yesterday and added a few scenarios to the note. I'll try to get it released ASAP.

Thanks.

The problem was the driver.

In comaprison between various SP versions, we discovered that you need a minimum of SP13.
