SAPinst MDB-06020 File not found

Former Member

Hi all,

We're installing SAP DM 6.4 SP9 in an AIX 5.3 server with datadabaseOracle 10.2.0.

We launch sapinst and after it asks for all the databasa information it gets stuck in this error:

"MDB-06020 File not found: ora_query3_tmp0_1.res"

The thing is that the sapinst installer creates an sql script called ora_query3_tmp0_1.sql. Inside this script there are sqlplus commands and one of them is:

spool ora_query3_tmp0_1.res

So we think the problem is that the installer has problems to either create or identify this .res file.

Does anyone have any idea of what the problem could be??

Thank you very much.

Best regards,

Check in the ORA directory, hope you get the .res files and copy this to the sapinst folder.

And try to execute.

Hi,

We've checked all the directories but the .res file dows not exist in the system. So the problem is that it has not been created.

How can we change the file creation script?

Thanks!
