Hi All,
All the required configurations have been done and the trip request has been saved by the traveler.
I am getting a error while sending / over viewing the trip request to the approving manager as " Error at the start of form processing " Message no. PTRA_WEB_INTERFACE162.
Can anybody help me resolve this please.
Regards.
Hello Shikha,
Please refer to the note 944221.
The RFC destination for "ADS" doesn't exist (transaction SM59). "ADS" is
the "Adobe Document Server"
You can check the RFC destination via the report FP_PDF_TEST_00.
If the configuration is correct, the system displays the version number.
The "ADS" Server is used to generate the PDF Forms.
The PDF forms are used as standard for travel requests, travel plans,
and for reporting travel expenses.
If you want to use the ABAP Forms, you have to change the default
customizing.
You can change this default setting with the IMG activity Travel
Expenses Control (Expert View). Set the indicator Other Settlement 24
for the appropriate trip provision variant to the desired value.
0 (active)
1 (not active)
2 (not active only in PR05 and PR04)
Regards,
Raynard

Hi,
i would like to ask you for the solution of your problem with Travel Management.
I got also the error " Error at the start of form processing " Message no. PTRA_WEB_INTERFACE162.
You have solved this problem with adding HTTP destination in Visual Administrator.
Please, could you send me what kind of HTTP destination is it?
Regards,
Zuzana
Dear,
It is looking like that you are using adobe form for settlement.
Check ADS and J2EE are installed correctly.
Alternatively you can modify the program to access the old Travel Request form.
Thanks and Regards,
