I'm confused.
Is Enhancement Package 1 for NetWeave 7.0 generally available or not?
At TechEd I was told the Ehp1 for NW 7.0 would be coming out at the very beginning of this year. So when I saw that the Support Package Stack Schedule showed Ehp1 patch 3 available in week 5 of this year (end of January) I assumed this would be the patch level it would be made generally available with.
The same SP Stack Schedule shows the next patch for Ehp1 will be released in week 23 (June) -- but if that's the GA date then that is quite a slip.
To compound my confusion, when I go to the Support Package Stack Download page I see SAP EHP1 FOR SAP NETWEAVER 7.0-03 (01/2009) available in the Target Stack dropdown, along with patch 02 and 01, however we never signed up for the ramp-up, so that leads me to believe it is generally available.
When I check the PAM NW 7.0 Ehp1 shows "Available" "since 10/13/2008". But when I check the "Available Soon" link it still shows up as "In Ramp-Up".
Does anybody have a clear answer on this? Is Ehp1 for NW 7.0 generally available or not? If not, when will it be?
Hi Jason,
EhP1 is currently in Ramp Up and is scheduled to end February 28. It has been quite successful meeting its KPI's, however, and it's possible this could be moved up.
Best Regards,
Matt

Hi Matt,
I really appreciate hearing back from somebody with an "SAP" logo on this question.
If Ehp1 meets its schedule am I right in assuming that it will go GA with patch 3 since patch 4 isn't scheduled until much later than Feb 28?
If that's the case I'm wondering if there's any reason we shouldn't go ahead and start loading Ehp1 patch 3 into our dev system, assuming the SP Stack Download actually allows me to download that release.
Hi Matt
