Has anyone created a custom Web Dynpro application for a custom infotype in ECC 6.0? I'd love to hear your experience and lessons learned from this process. I have found and read many documents on creating a custom decoupled infotype (which we've completed successfully) and ABAP Web Dynpro but nothing that joins the two together. Even though the custom decoupled infotype creation automatically generates the check classes, UI conversion classes, and operation methods (read, edit, etc.), there are many other Portal integration steps that should be considered and I'm looking for example of leveraging the delivered methods that a decoupled infotype generates. For instance, creating the iView to house the Web Dynpro application (which I know exists on it's own), portal SSO, using the Floor Plan Manager to have the same navigation, look & feel, and session management.
