mail adapter-PI 7.1-SAP (error:java.net.ConnectException)

hi,

i am doing a mail -pi- sap scenario.... were my sender adpater has to pick up the mail from my inbox and update the status based on certain conditions in the SAP system.

i am getting the below error in RWB....

"exception caught during processing mail message; java.net.ConnectException: Connection refused"

Hi,

The Connection Refused error comes whenever (mostly) wrong or no authentication details have been provided.

Check if the user details provided by you are the desired ones.

whats exact error message did you got.

Have u configured all the required paramters for connecting to your mailbox?

What is the protocol used for connecting IMAP/POP3?

transport protocol : IMAP4

message protocol: XIPAYLOAD

this is the URL : imap://192.168.100.103 /mithun.p @ enteg.com/inbox/

authentication method is : plain
