Hi gurus!
I have a question regarding Copy Control and updating the Document Flow.
When I copy a quotation (=creating a new one with reference to the source quotation), the Document flow is automatically updated, showing the "flow" between the documents.
Is there any way to configure the system so that the Document flow does NOT show the "reference" between the source document and the target document?
I have investigated the settings regarding Copy Control between my quotation document categories in VTAA (both on header and item level), and I cannot find any way to "disable" the updating of the document flow.
Not even by changing the value for the "Update Document Flow" checkbox.
Does anyone know if it is possible at all in SAP to copy documents without "showing" the Document Flow in between?
Any advice appreciated.
Best Regards
Anders
Hello Friend,
In VTAA select the document types and double click in item and then select the relevant item category and in detail screen there is something called Update Document Flow you please leave that field as blank to disable the document flow.

Thanks for your reply Sunil.
However, as stated above, I have already tried these settings.
No matter what I choose in VTAA "Update Document Flow"....
" " Do not create document flow records
"X" Create document flow records
"2" Create doc. flow records except for dely/goods issue/billdoc
...the source and the target documents still are displayed in a document flow.
Any other ideas?
Hy,
In VTAA copy control, there is always a reference on header even if we clear the fields.
The only solution we found for same problem is:
Exit SD MV45AFZZ
