Hai all,

I am new to WDJ, since I was working in WDA I am moving to WDJ for a requirement.

Could anyone tell me how to move a Transport Request ? Is that as like WDA or any changes ?

Hi Rup,

what you can do is.

1. First you need to create Iview with your WDJ application in say development. Now you can create a .epa file (Transport) of that iview and now you can upload that .epa file to say QA or Production.

2. You can directly deploy the application over the QA or production.

But the point 1 is comes under good practice as by this we can maintain the flow like(the one whichis deployed and tested in development will be moved to QA or production)

In webdynpro java there is no transport request.

If you are using NWDI the administrator(BASIS) have to transport that DC to prod or QA.

Otherwise you can directly deploy the application to the desired server
