XI scenario documentation

Hi Guys,

I am looking for a template to document XI scenarios. - Such as adapter type, structures, volume etc.

I have been going through a lot of posts without any luck as most of them has dead links in them. So please do not refere to old posts. Thanks!

Hi Thomas,

If you are looking for a naming convention document then there is one provided by SAP itself (only for SAP XI and not PI)....however if you are looking for an interface description document then the structure of the same is totally organisation dependant.....if this is the first that documentation is made then you can start with including Functional as well as Technical Details about the scenario

Functional Details can include: Basic Block diagram, Message flow diagram (with MI, MM etc), info about the interface etc.

Technical details can include: Details of all objects created in IR and ID starting from DT, MT, MI, MM, IM in IR to Configuration Scenario, Aggrements, Channels in ID.

under Technical documentation check the link XI Content Certification Documentation Which will ask for downloading a zip file.

the zip file contains a MS Word document "GUIDELINES FOR XI CONTENT DOCUMENTATION"
