An old maint plan having one maint item ..now want to add one more item to that plan but with different task .
And i want after scheduling only the new maint item to be scheduled . Is it possible..

while adding the new item ,delete the assignment of the old one from the maintenance plan

But company need the history of the old plan and respective orders.
then create the separate maintenance plan with another maintenane item and do the rest of process.
if you add another item also since the scheduling paramters are same for 2 maintenance item it will create the call objects for the both the items
Just deactive the previous maintenance plan
