In sm37, I found a job status is still activate, and PID is 999636, but I can not find the PID at OS level use "ps -ef | grep 999636".

and it can not be stop when I try to terminate it. I can find nothing job in TRJOB table.

How to can change the job status?

Hai,

If you need to stop or cancel the active job, goto SM50 and check the background work process in action and then goto 'Process' and click on 'cancel without core'.

This will cancel the workprocess and the corresponding background job in the work process will fail.

Dear Yoganand ,

At the os level can not find the PID of jobs, and can not find the information about the job in sm50.

Did you check the START date of the job? Are you sure that 999636 is the process ID? I have never seen so big process numbers...
