Hai,

Check the below link.....

http://sap.ittoolbox.com/groups/technical-functional/sap-basis/high-rollwait-time-1514656?cv=expande...

http://www.saptechies.com/rfc-statistics-in-transactions-st03st03n-and-stad/

Roll wait time = time spent in roll context waiting for RFCs.

Also you can check tcode ST05 for RFC trace.

hello

one of the posible causes of high rollin time is that all dialog processes are in use

you can check this in sm50

Hi Alex

In addition, please also try re-installing your GUI. Sometimes this also helps as large roll wait time suggests communication problem either with external system or GUI.

Hi

Please check :-

Note 63476 - Response times too high for CPIC/RFC in ST03

Note 8963 - Definition of SAP response time/CPU time

Note 376148 - Response times without GUI time

As already mentioned, this have to be an RFC connection that is giving you this looong time.

Hi Alex,

I suspect, there may be some settings conflict for the RFC parameters or else we need to drill down this problem into network issues.

I have identified two SAP Notes which may throw some lights...

SAP Note 1100926 FAQ: Network performance

SAP Note 38682 Parameter settings for RFC

Thank you,
