recently i have come across stuff like " LONG TEXT" i know about sales text, materail text, customer master text, , config of text id, text type, but what does this " long text " mean and where does it apply.
This function allows you to write an explanatory long text for a profitability segment, or to display or change an existing one.
Features
The long text indicator allows you to identify at a glance which segments have already been documented. If you want to see the long text indicator in planning, you need to specify it when you define your planning layouts.
Note that the long text is linked to the entire profitability segment, including all derived characteristics, and therefore can no longer be found if you change the derivation rules.
