Solman and windows 2007

Hi I was trying to get information I just installed EHP 1 on SOlman 7.0 and was told even with this windows 2007 is not compatable with Solution manager? Is this true?

Hi Markus yes it is compatible with Sap Solman 7.0 in note 633221 you can check to see if it is installed also you can check the C:\Program files\sap\Frontend\SAPGui\Testtools -> CheckDOI.exe

run the exe and it does a trace in the registry to see if everything is applied.

Marcus when uploading docs into solution manager does it support excel and word 2007?

Sorry I meant to say Word 2007 and excell 2007 is this supported

Not sure what you mean.

The Solution Manager frontend is either the Webbrowser or the SAPGUI. You don't connect directly to the machine using either Word or Excel...

Windows 2007? Never heard of that - I heard of "Windows 2008 - codename Longhorn"

According to the PAM (http://service.sap.com/pam) it is not supported.
