Hi all

I have made a template with the headings for the inspection plan- QP01, which has the headings like

MATNR C(018) Material Number

WERKS C(004) Plant

VERWE C(003) Usage

STATU C(003) Status

etc.in excel format, I cannot carry on further to upload data in the QP01 using LSMW. I received some answers in the forum but cannot solve. Would anybody guide me in uploading the excel data into SAP through LSMW. Will u give a detailed guidance please. Shall I use the excel format as such or have to convert.

Kindly guide me (if possible step by step ).

Hi,

Save the excel file in text file & then try to upload the data using this text file.

Hi

It is not a very specific problem description you leave us.

LSMW is basicly a recording of a series of actions in SAP which you run multible times with the data you provvide.

You need to locate the LSMW project and assign the file you have created. (if the LSMW project is already on the system)
