Webgui service

Hi

I have configurated the webgui HTML service and it works.

I have activated the service in SICF.

But I have the follow peoblem. I need to open the webgui service in a new window, without the explorer menu. It is because of the users, they have a lot of problems with both menus (menu webgui and menu explorer) ,,, For exemple, to print, They always use the print option in explorer, not in webgui.

How can desactivated the menu explorer in webgui?...

I tried to change the webgui.srvc.... But I dind't have any good news.

Thanks

Hi Marc.

What's your ITS version? Look OSS 1148291. It's possible you have to update your architecture.

Best regards.

Hello

I have SAP ECC 6.0 SAP_BASIS 700 level 15

And now I've tried with :

~WEBGUI_ICON_TOOLBAR = 2

and I can't see the icons ..... only the text of menus...

Hello Marc,

Ivan's note 1148291 is the correct one for the issue of icon buttons instead of text buttons, but your system Basis Support Package is not high enough for it to work. Please note that you need SAPKB70017 for the note to work.

Hello Edgar

I have another issue with webgui ...

I'm using webgui service to connect SAP and it works perfectly ... except for ALV Classic list.

The scroll bar is not working

I've tried to change the GUI configuration with the values :

~AUTOSCROLL 0

~VERTICALSCROLL 0

But it didn't work.

Any idea?

Thanks again

Hello,

Did you try with values 1 instead? What about the scroll bar is not working? Is there no scroll bar present, are there arrow buttons?

Hello Edgar

.. Yes, I've tried all combinations ... and it didn't work ....

The problem ... is difficult to explain... I have the transaction FBL5N... it's a ALV list... And I have two viewes.. ALV Classis list and ALV grid control.

The result is more one page ...

In the first case, I have to run advance page option, because the scroll bar in the mouse is not working

In the second case, I can advance page with the scroll bar in the mouse...

Thanks !!!

Hello Elisa,

Why did I start referring to you as "Marc"? So sorry about that.

Unfortunately this is the way this page works. I looked at one of our internal systems with transaction FBL5N. You'll notice that when you scroll using the SAPgui for Windows that the SAP Water Logo in the upper right is animated when you scroll, therefore this page is not fully loaded either when you first see it. In the SAPgui for HTML (ITS/Webgui) this difference is more pronounced because it requires a request to the R/3 system for the next page.

Hello Marc,

I don't recall any ITS or SICF setting to open the browser without the browser's toolbar or menu. But you can use javascript to open a window without the menubar using something like:

window.open("","","toolbar=no,menubar=no,scroll bars=yes,status=no,resizeable

=yes

Hello Edgar,

Thank you very much for your answer.

Do you know if I can add this parameters into the SICF service?

Perhaps in GUI configuration ...

~WEBGUI 1

~THEME No

~DISCONNECTONCLOSESTATUS 0

~MENUBAR No

~SCROLLBARS yes

~STATUS no

Hello,

No, in fact I'm using a browser (explorer 6.0).

But thanks

Hello Marc,

You can add those parameters to the GUI Configuration but they won't have the desired effect. Like I said, there is no GUI Configuration parameter to alter the appearance of the browser window itself. You will need to open the window with the limited functionality.
