How can we classify a settlement receiver as either external or internal?

Internal reciever means the reciver belong to controlling like cost center, WBSE, Order and External reciver are FI object like G/L account, asset, profitability segment etc.

Hi Alok,
I believe you are talking about FI vs CO. In that case, it will be the G/L for both and you will need to layout the cost element groups for internal and external cost elements (secondary and primary cost elements respectively).

My question is with respect to PS Project costing. While defining a settlement rule for PS project element we provide a settlement receiver. Is there a way to identify which settlement receiver is external or internal without knowing the name of settlement receiver?
