Hi ALL,
Our system runs on ECC 6.0/ Oracle and Windows 2003 server.
We were importing SAP BASIS and ABA patches in our development server.
The queue was defined for ABA 16, 17 and BASIS 16, 17 patch. Totally 4 patches, the patches were running for a very long time approx 6-7 hrs. When I tried to login
through GUI I was getting dump error and was unable to execute any
transaction.
When I checked Slog I got the following error
START MAIN IMPORT TDV I 20090130142154 TVSI
sapdevp 20090130141336
WARNING: returncode -1073741819 received -> changed to 7777

When I checked SAPIB70017 log it said
2EETP195 log file is not complete ==> "R3trans" terminated for unknown reason
1 ETP154 MAIN IMPORT
1 ETP110 end date and time : "20090130152054"
1 ETP111 exit code : "7777"
1 ETP199 ######################################
So I stopped the SAP instance and restarted i. Now the issue is that
still am not able to login and receive the dump errors. The Support
Package import of BASIS and ABA also did not complete. I followed note 1288862 but it was of no help cos am not able to login.
Please help me to fix this issue ASAP.
Many Thanks,
SBK
Did you check the Alog and Slog? are there any error message, you are at which kernel patch level?
If you are facing any error open an OSS message, SAP support will fix it very fast, cos they have special tools.

Hi,
SAP said thay the issue was with older version of TP and R3trans. But I wonder because before applying the SP I upgraded the kernel level to 175, so obviously the TP and R3Trans should be a newer one, but donno why they said.
They also said that they fixed it usin their internal tools which ae unreleased to others.

Hi All,
I raised an OSS message, SAP logged into our server and fixed it.

Hi SBK,
Check for
tp showbuffer <SID> pf=\usr\sap\trans\bin\TP_DOMAIN_<SID>.PFL at OS level.
Cheers

Hi SBK,
Thanks for providing the same.
If you wish to clear you can do the following
tp r3i TDVKO00657<SID> pf=/usr/sap/trans/bin/TP_DOMAIN_<SID>.PFL tag=spam -Dclientcascad e=yes -Drepeatonerror=8
Check the dependencies before you do the same.
Will clear the Patch from OS Level & solve your problem.
Cheers
Deepanshu
