Hi Gurus,
In the Change mode of the Customer Master Record, The Credit control area field is not appearing. But in Display mode of Customer Master record it is appearing. What is the reason? How we can enable It in change mode?
Regards
Jyothi.
Hi Jyothi,
Credit Control Area is related to Credit master data of the Customer master (FD32)
There are many fields which share their data. In this case Credit control Area is maintained in FD32, it can not be created or changed in Customer Master data (XD02), it can be changed only in FD32.
Hence Credit Control Area is visible in XD03 but not in XD02.

Vishal

Dear Jyothi
Go to IMG path -- Financial Accounting --> Accounts Receivables and Accounts Payable --> Customer Accounts --> Master Data --> Preparations for creating Customer Master Data --> Define Screen Layout per Activity (Customers) (TCode OB20).
There if you have created the customer via VD01, then double click on Change Customer (Sales) and double click on Sales data and again double click on Billing tab. There you can see the field Hedging and credit contr. area with different options maintained there. You have to change here.
If you have created the customer in XD01 initially, then select Change Customer (Centrally) and proceed as suggested above.
thanks

Hi,
This works, check it out.SPRO>Financial Accounting>Account Receivables>Customer Accounts>Master Data>preparations for creating Customer Master Data>Define Screen Layout per activity. Then go to XD02 and Sales Area Data Tab>Billing Tab> enter your credit control Area.

Hi,
Use Tcode OB20 - Define transaction related screen layout
In this go for "change customer centrally" details (magnifying glass) - Sales Data - billing - Hedging and credit control area. Make this as a optional entry.

Hi Jyothi
Go to OBD2 then double clicj on Sales Data. Select billing and click on the blue lens.
here you change the Credit control Area to Required entry. I hope this will solve your query.

Hi,
This is the standard behaviour of the system. when you maintain credit control area for the customer in FD32, system will automatically display the credit control area in display. SAP has not provided to change it in VD02 or XD02.

Hi,
Instead, you can see the same thing in FD32. use this.It is a standard setting in XD02,when you go to Credit management of that customer it will be in display mode only. You cannot do any changes to it there in XD02.
