Dear All,
Can the project defination be changed once created.
If Yes, then how.
I have a case where the project defination and its wbs have different initial codes.
For Instance Project Def is T.09.CXX.400
And Its WBS is T.08.CYZ.500.001
How could this happen ?
Please explain
Regards,
Vishal
Thanks All

Yes you can change the PD once created than after. It is based on indirectly OPSK , OPSJ settings.
Always define required coding maks in OPSJ and tick the edit indicator in OPSK... so, than after system will alllow you to change th projec coding mask for the defined coding mask...
If you stricly wanted to not to allow the P.D. after your creation this can be achieved by user status.

Hi,
Thanks for your reply.
But, I found that we could change project def. through transcation CJ07.
Further it is also observed that no change log is maintained for this Proj. Defination change.
I mean to say that , i was not able to trace this change from the system.
Is their some other provision to track these changes.

Vishal
Hi Nitin,
I had ticked the change doc. in project profile through OPSA txn.
Then I had created a project under that project profile.
I also changed the project def.
I tried CN60 transcation to view the change history.
But i am getting the following message .
"No objects were selected using the criteria
entered"
Please suggest, what is wrong here.
Regards,
Vishal
