Mulitipal Prices for one material

Hi,

can i maintain multipal prices for a one material.

And we maintain prices for common channel, therefore we cannot maintain according to disteribution channel aslo.

Any idea how i can deal with this

Dear Uvi,

-->You can maintain multiple prices for the material with one of the key combination as Customer

-->You create condition table with Customer as one of the key field.

-->Maintain access sequence for that table.

-->Assign this access sequence to your pricing condition type.

-->Keep this pricing condition type in your pricing procedure.

-->Now you maintain the condition records for that condition type with different values for the different customers.

The problem is i need to maintain multipal prices for same customer.

Basically one customer can have different prices for same material.

On what logic, the price would differ ?? In pricing condition you can have this as one option

Hi,

YES, you can maintain multiple prices for the same customer.

For the same customer you can have different prices for same material which can vary as per season, discount offer seasons etc.

You can choose in condition table for CUSTOMER/MATERIAL/PRICE LIST......

Also sometimes you can choose a discount condition type for the same customer & material. Thus you can configure this in condition technique and control it .

Also you can maintain checking of EXCLUSION INDICATOR in the ACCESS SEQUENCE so that the best price is always chosen among different end price for customer which is chosen keeping in mind all the conditions such as discount,price list etc.

CONDITION TECHNIQUE IS ITSELF USED TO CHOOSE THE BEST ALTERNATIVE. IN CASE OF PRICE IT WILL CHOOSE THE BEST PRICE AMONG A VARIETY OF OPTIONS AVAILABLE.THUS FROM A NO. OF PRICES FOR SAME MATERIAL YOU CAN CHOOSE ANY.

THE LOGIC IS SIMPLE,

FOR THE SAME CUSTOMER AND FOR SAME MATERIAL , THE PRICES CAN DIFFER AS PER SALE SEASON.

IN CASE OF FESTIVE SEASON MATERIAL WILL HAVE DISCOUNTS SO PRICE CAN DIFFER.

ALSO SPECIAL OFFERS CAN BE HELD IRRERESPECTIVE OF SEASON.

THUS FOR SAME CUSTOMER AND MATERIAL, PRICES CAN DIFFER.
