Error Message - Project does not exist

Hi All,

While trying to open a project though CJ20 transcation , I am getting following error message.

"The project does not exist."

Please suggest how to resolve it.

Ensure you are entering the project number correctly as per the coding mask.

Check in the table if it indeed exists.

Go to table display t code SE16/SE11

Open table PROJ

Give your project number as input (make sure what you enter is correct as per the coding mask)

check if this project details are in the table.

Hi,

It is found that the Project exist in the system, but with a different project defination.

I mean the projection defination of the original project is changed.

Can we change project defination?

If yes,then which t codes are used to do so & what could be the purspose of doing so.

If not, then how come this has happened.
