BPS Transport steps

Hi ,

Can anyone guide me about the transport steps for BPS.

Is it possible to do customize transport.

In one planning area. I just want to transport certain planning planning package and sequence.

Please guide me on this.

1. Select the customizing transport request in which you want to include the objects.

2. In planning area field specify name of your planning level

3. Select checkbox 'Change Transport of Individual Planning Levels'

4. Specify name of your planning level

5. Select checkbox 'Global Planning Sequences' and specify name of your global sequence

6. Select chckbox 'Plng Sequences' and fill the values in the fields under that.

You can' transport individual planning packages, all the packages in a planning level gets included in the transport.

Could you please guide me.

For BPS Transport I can not collect everything in one transport.

Can you tell me what order transport should release.

Like first planning level , variable. Etc.

I would highly appreciate your help.

Hi,

Actually the person who has created is left and some stuff is broken in QA system. So i have to do retransport. Please guide me On this. How to transport certain objects.

I do not have system in front so can't see the screen of the program UPC_TRANSPORT_BPS_ALL. If you can tell me the names of first few screen elements of that prorgram and the objects you want to transport then may be i can help

Hi,

You can transport all type of BPS objects in full or customized way using program UPC_TRANSPORT_BPS_ALL. Execute this program in SA38 transaction code and select the options on the selection screen based on your needs.

Ok. But I donot want to transport all. As I mention in my question. I want to transport some of the stuff from the planning area.

And can you tell me how to transport bsp application.

In that program you have option to select whether you want to do full transport of a planning area or partial, you can then select the objects accordingly.

to transport BSP application open it in SE80 and there you will find the option to change the package/development class of your application, when you will change that to your z-package system will ask for the transport request.
