go into transaction SPAM

choose GOTO -> IMPORT LOG -> QUEUE

expand until you see a red entry. check log for that RED entry.

Hi Eric,

In the Import Log -> Queue, does not have red entries but in support pack having red entries that is

Program terminated (job: RDDEXECL, no.: 23462900)

then, go in SM37 and check logs for job RDDEXECL. you will find more info.

Hi Chandra,

Also check whether you have enough free space in /trans

Deepanshu, his support pack stops in a post-processing job which does not use TRANS directory.

so, this is not an OS related issue at that point. it's probably a problem due to activation of stuff imported in the support pack.

Check whether any table has been locked by any transport request. If so release the transport request so the corresponding table gets unlocked.

Hi Chandra,

Please check status for job : RDDGEN0L aswell.

Also check :

tp showbuffer <SID> pf=\usr\sap\trans\bin\TP_DOMAIN_<SID>.PFL

have a look into

/usr/sap/trans/tmp as well as usr/sap/trans/log

directory

During the update files were generated there, so just check that last modified time, then only you will be able to see what is going on your system

Hi Chandra,

You can also make sure that you are using the newest tp.exe.

Also have a look at the log dir under trans at files SLOG, ULOG, ALOG and transport file itself.

Hope this helps

Cheers
