PR TRANSFER TO SRM

Hi,

Wwhile transferring the PRs to SRM from MM , I have created a backend chamnnel in SRM an the PR for a particular Purchasing Organisation is getting transferred to SRM.

If I want to transfer the PR for 10 diff Purchasing organisations do we need to create 10 DIFF BACKEND CHANNES IN SRM.

Please advise.

Hi Manu,

(A) If you are talking about different purchasing organizations of backend MM, then you have to maintain

profiles/ table views V_T160EX & V_T160PR for all the combinations of 'MM Purchasing Groups' and

'Material Groups'.

(B) If you are talking about ten diff. P.Org of SRM, then you have to create a local purchasing group in

each of these P.Orgs with responsibility of all the materials (Product category) that you want to transfer

and you need to assign the Org Responsibility of your RFC channel to each of these local Purch.

Groups. (In addition to step A)

You must have defined the responsibility for RFC channel to a particular Local purchasing group and org.

So even if you transfer purchasing group for different pur groups in ECC, the determination of purchasing groups and org would happen via the responsibility of RFC channel in SRM.
