SAP MMC error - MMC Could not create the snap in

I installed 3 new instances on a new server, and i get the following errors.

MMC Could not create the snap-in

MMC could not create the snap-in, the snap-in might not have been installed correctly.

Name SAP System Manager

CLSID: {633547ee-A302-11D1-Ae59-080009b07dbb}

Any Ideals.

SAP Recommends you don't install the GUI and the MMC on the same computer. You need to install the latest 7.10 MMC. If it still say's it newer, un-install the gui, install the MMC and then the GUI.

Hi,

Meanwhile we changed our upgrade plan, therefor the server was reset to it's original state.

Hence I could not reproduce the error.

But anyway... many thanks for your effort!

What do you mean by SAP MMC 7.10, can you please explain and from where you can find this on SMP.

I downloaded the latest MMC and installed the version 7.10. It fixed the issues with 7.0

I got the exactly the same error. I installed GUI 7.10, and I installed the latest MMC but during installation of MMC was prompted that current version is allready newer.

Do you got some more specific answer on how did you solve this issue?
