VC for BI ?

Hi there, I'm new to VC and so far it seems an awsome tool.

Anyhow, my question:

our higher management wants to view some reports in the form of gauges in portal environment.

I believe I'll use VC to do this on portal. But my question is: is it necassary to have BI or can we do this directly on ECC ?

Thanks in advance.

Hi,

Customizing the guage component and using it for Our application is difficult to handle .

You can use BI tool to show your Reports in Guages and then you can display them in Portl.

But only problem is with the Lokkand Filed because of HTML.

But if you want Chrts to represent your Reports then VC is best to you and with very good Look and Feel

"You can use BI tool to show your Reports in Guages and then you can display them in Portl."

Pls elaborate on this. How, in BI, can you create reports in gauges ?
