Document Storage wiithout DMS

Is there a way, where you can save a Document without configuring the Document magement system.

or without using the content server or so in SAP.

Your help is rquired ASAP.

When i tried to access the "Service for Object" under the "Systems" menu, I get the error saying "No Service Available". How should I activate this object. Can you guide me step by step.

Hi

Please elaborate ur requirement. In which module / object u want to attach the document..?

For example do u want to have a document attached along with a Purchase requistion , WBS elelment, Sales Order item etc??

For most modules u can do the same using the optionmentioned by Manoj

Or else if u simply want to manage Documents and store it , use DMS only

Hi,

For storing documents without configuring Document Management System, we have Services for Object (System-->>Services for Object) option available in most of the R/3 modules, here you can store documents as attachments which will be directly stored in SAP Database.
