Hi VRMP

For periodic trigerring of batch retest (deadline monitoring) / triggering of batch inspection periodically please follow the following steps:

1. Enter the Inspection Interval days on QM view of material master (MM02) (say 7 days, 30 days, or 365 days). This will set Next Inspection date in Batch record as GR date + Inspection Interval days on good receipt

2. Using QA05, create a variant with for automatic creation of inspeciton lot if Batch Next Inspection date lies within range (set values of Initial Run in days say 7 days, and setting radio button to "Inspection Stock at Lot Creation")

3. Schedule the variant using the same transction (QA05). say on weekly basis

Now the system will exectue the job weekly, if Next Inspection Date of a material batch lies within 7 days, this will create inspection lot and post the stock in Quality Inspeciton. When you will take Usage Decision the System will usage Inspection Interval days again to set the Next Inspection date of batch.

If you have any quesiton, let me know. Please also tell what do u mean by "PM Implementation steps & transactions in SAP"

Dear Mohammed,

Thanks for the inputs. Pls clarify the following

1. My concern is how to trigger the check points of a single machines/equipments which are needs to be scheduled daily, weekly, monthly & annually.

2. And where & how to define the intervals like 1, 7 & 30 & 365 days for a single machine? ...transaction?

3. Is it required to create lots for each frequency? or how to proceed for checking these items in a specified intervals?

Advance thanks.

Hi

If you want to schedule quality inspection of material then use, QA05 create and schedule variant. Provided you have activated inspection type u201809u2019 in QM View of Material Master and inspection plan with Usage = u20189u2019 exists.

But if you want to trigger quality inspection for test equipment, then go to SAP Easy Access Menu > Logistics > QM > Test Equipment Management > Calibration Planning > Maintenance Planning OR SAP Easy Access Menu > Logistics > Plant Maintenance > Preventive Maint. > Maint. Planning:

1. u2026u2026. Maintenance Task List > Equipment Task List: IA01 (use Equipment Task List and add inspection char.

2. Use IP41, or IP42 or IP43 to define scheduling strategies.

3. Use IP10 to schedule and release your plan

The system will create and release calibration order depending on maintenance plan cycle (i.e. strategies) you selected in step 2. (Hint: if you require calibration inspection in regular intervals use IP41 u2013 Create Single Cycle Plan). On the release of calibration order by system, an inspection lot will be created automatically (based on Equipment Task List). Now carry out inspection and take Usage Decision.

You may skip an inspection call using IP10 or complete force inspection if detailed inspection is not required against a particular lot.

1 -Create strategy -i.e. daily ,weekly ,monthly , year etc..use unit as- day , for weekly cycle length as 7 , monthly as 28 . tcode - IP11

2 - Create task list for equipments ..ia05 using above Strategy also add MIC if u need for inspection

3- Create Maint item for particular equipment assign tasklist .. IP04

4 - Create Maint Plan - Assign all items ..IP42

5 - Schedule Maint Plan - IP10

As per respective plan order will get generated for particular machine ..Check with IW38
