Dear SAP Guru,
I have a case that I need suggestion and advice.
Here is the detail condition
I have a storage unit
SP (Standard Pallet)
CAR (Carton)
I have a material number AAAA1 (Base U Of M PCS) with palletization like below
600 PCS SP
25 PCS CAR
I also have a storage bin with capacity 1,000 and for this material AAAA1 with 600 PCS will make this storage bin capacity full (this mean the capacity usage for material AAAA1 is 1.667)
As reference I have 3 storage bin (and using putaway strategy : Additional to Existing Stock) with current condition as below
Storage Bin Quantity
01-01-01 500
01-02-01 0
01-03-01 0
Then I have a stock transfer transaction with quantity 300 PCS. When I tried to make a Transfer Order the SAP recommend me with palletization
SU Qty per SUnit SUT
1 300 SP
with this palletization recommendation, SAP then will generate destination storage bin as 01-02-01.
300 SP 01-02-01
Is there any way that I can change the palletization recommendation is not calculated in SP, but in CAR since the stock transfer is actually in CAR (Carton) not in SP (Standard Pallet).
So I can optimize the putaway process and get the following destination storage bin result :
25 CAR 01-01-01
25 CAR 01-01-01
25 CAR 01-01-01
25 CAR 01-01-01
25 CAR 01-02-01
25 CAR 01-02-01
25 CAR 01-02-01
25 CAR 01-02-01
25 CAR 01-02-01
25 CAR 01-02-01 and so on...
Thanks in Advanced for your suggestion and advice.
Best Regards,
Sugiharto
Dear Friend,
You can very well do that while creating a TO. Based on putaway quantity system will propose either SP or combination of SP and CAR SUTS while putaway. You can very well chnage the SUT to what ever you want and then you can create a TO. (In this case to CAR only)
