Hi Friends

We use vl71 to print the shupment document to send along with the shipment. We found that the system can able to print the shipment detail sheet even if the picking status in not fully confirmed (b).

Is there any opportunity to set the system to print the shipment detail sheet only when the overall picking status and overall WM status is fully confirmed (C). It will also be goos if we can able to display an error message when we try to print the shipment detail sheet when the ststus is not fully confirmed.

Or

Can we have our own print program developed with above specifications.

VL71 should not behave like this. There is some thing wrong in the program assigned to output message type. You need to correct the program here.

Dear Jyoti,

As earlier respondent rightly mentioned that you can full fill your requirement through develop new Requirement with the help of ABAPer through VOFM transaction.

Assign the new requirement to your shipment document output procedure at your output type Requirement colomun.

Path is SPRO>IMG>Logistics execution>Shipping>Basic shipping functions>Output determination>Maintain Output Determination Procedure -- select your output procedure then click on control data now system will take you to the control data over view screen here you can assign new routine to your out put type.

You can set a 'requirement' at the output type level. Go to IMGLEShippingBasic Shipping functionsOutput DeterminationMaintain Output Determination ProcedureControl Data and then see which 'Requirement' goes wih your business scenario.
